Return Policy
As long as you are in compliance with the Terms of Use and other agreements with Beyond The Trees, LLC (“Beyond The Trees”), and you are not in default of any your obligations to Beyond The Trees, you may be entitled to a refund as set forth in this Policy.
Book Kits (not including published books)
Unopened Book Kits purchased from the Beyond the Trees website (www.beyondthetrees.net) can be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase for a full refund subject to the terms of this Policy. Unless the Book Kit was defective or damaged upon delivery from Beyond The Trees to you, all Book Kits must be returned unopened, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition in order to be eligible for a refund. Any merchandise missing the packaging cannot be returned. Please note that delivery fees, shipping & handling costs and other fees for services performed are nonrefundable. You will also be responsible for the shipping costs to return the Book Kit. Please allow up to 2 weeks to process your refund request. A 10% processing fee will be applicable to all refund requests.
Published Books
If you’ve completed your Book Kit and would like Beyond the Trees to publish a book for you, we guarantee your satisfaction with workmanship. On the off chance your book arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact Beyond the Trees’ Customer Service (customer.service@beyondthetrees.net) within 14 days of receipt to be eligible for a reprint.
Please note that each book you order from us is individually made by one of our professional book-printing partners. There may be minor differences across different prints of the same books and/or across books printed by our different book-printing partners, including, but not limited to, slight variances in color fidelity and binding type. While we work very hard to keep our product as consistent as possible, this variation is a normal occurrence and is not considered a manufacturing defect or a defect in workmanship and does not qualify for a reprint or refund.
Beyond The Trees takes pride in producing quality photo books at a low cost within about a week of your order being placed. In order to meet the low cost and quick turnaround bench marks, your books are printed as they are ordered. Because of the production expense we are unable to cancel orders or accept returns of Published Books except if they arrive damaged and/or with a manufacturing defect. For this reason, Beyond The Trees strongly urges you to carefully inspect your order and be sure that you are satisfied with your creation prior to authorizing the book to be published. It is your responsibility to review the draft of your book and to identify any issues with respect to:
· Typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, unfinished text, or other text errors; and
· Design issues, including book format, organization, style, color, and page layout.
We strongly recommend printing a hard copy of the draft of your book on your local printer for a final review. (You might ask a friend to look it over, too.) If you find changes you’d like to make, no problem. Just contact your Beyond the Trees editor and let them know – we’ll send you a notice when your revised book draft is ready to review.
After you give your approval on the final draft, your book is all yours: Beyond the Trees will conduct no further proofing or editing and you will not be entitled to any refund and/or reprint except as set forth herein.
