As Kristi and Jennifer begin their blog, they stress the importance of telling your stories. It is their passion to help you collect and preserve them.

Okay, I know it's trite to say that Every Life Has Stories, but I just happen to believe it. I used to love the feature on our local news where the reporter opened up the pages of the phone book, chose a number randomly, and then went and knocked on that person's door and told their story. These were regular people, who had done nothing "newsworthy" but the reporter always uncovered something interesting about that person's life.

If you have an open mind and heart, and are willing to listen more than you talk, you can hear the stories all around you. If you ask someone a question, and truly care about the answer, you can find out the most extraordinary things about the people in your life. And if you can stop for just a few minutes, quiet the voice in your head that lists all the things you must get done today, you can hear your own story. The stories are there, I promise. And with a little help, you can tell them.
